I am thrilled to share that my painting Skyline was selected to be part of the City of Coquitlam’s 2024 Visual Art Exhibition. This recognition is a significant moment for me, and the opening night was nothing short of inspiring.
Held in Coquitlam , the event brought together artists, art enthusiasts, and community members. Members of the city council were in attendance, offering thoughtful remarks on Coquitlam’s commitment to fostering a vibrant arts community. Their words highlighted how art not only enriches individual lives but also strengthens the city’s cultural identity.
Skyline was created as an exploration of urban landscapes, blending abstract elements with structural forms to evoke the pulse of city life. It’s an honor to see it displayed alongside works from other talented artists, each piece contributing to a diverse and compelling exhibition.
The exhibition runs until January 2025, and I encourage anyone in the area to visit and take in the incredible range of visual art on display. A heartfelt thanks to the City of Coquitlam for its dedication to supporting artists and providing spaces to showcase creative expression. This opportunity has been both a privilege and an inspiration.
If you stop by the show, I’d love to hear your thoughts on Skyline!
